Thankful Today

It’s Monday of the week of Thanksgiving. You can start Black Friday shopping, the biggest commercial sales event of the year, at a variety of places already, preparing for the next holiday. My heart is full today. Today is a great place to be.

Today, I meditated to a free AP, Insight Timer, information shared with me by a friend. I particularly like Moving Kundalini Meditation by Shakti Sutriasa. The same friend receives an email with my gratitude list, sometimes 2 different lists, a day.

I listened to my new favorite song today, Have It All by Jason Mraz, which I heard in a public restroom for the first time this weekend. There was a waitress in the restroom who encountered me standing there delighted to my toes, taking it in. “Have you heard this?” I asked.

“Three times,” she said, “Over the speakers here,” she gestured up, although she did not know the name of it.  I Googled the refrain and then returned to the table although I had already said my goodbyes. I played it for the two friends who remained at the table. I shared it on my Facebook Page, because it’s brilliant, loving and wonderful. Thank you, Jason Mraz, for sharing your gift.

There is so much in this life; love, loss, sorrow, grief, happiness, hope, laughter, loneliness, contentment, achievement and gratitude. I have the privilege of hearing grief journeys in my work every day. I have been given a great gift, to know there is so much more to life than there is here, and it is available to all of us. Those who connect with their loved ones have the courage to walk their grief journeys and live their lives to the best of their abilities, knowing more.

Love lives on. I feel it in my meditation. I know it through my work. I feel and know it in my home and family. My heart is full, spilling love.  Embracing life, living life, with all of you, having the courage to accept life and sometimes love it, flaws and all. I am thankful today, to be able to share the journey.

3 Ways to Honor the Love of the Past, Present and Future

As a psychic medium, it’s my privilege helping people reconnect with spirits who most influenced and impacted their lives. As I reflect on recent readings, the word honor resonates with me. As a verb, it means to show great respect. Here is how you can honor the past, present and future.

1.Spirit reaches out and nudges when they want to connect because they have messages for you. Honor the spirit who is encouraging you to receive a message. Make an appointment to receive it. Someone from your past wants to connect in your present.

2.Honor thy Father and Mother, sibling and friend. Loss of parents, or spouses, friends, children and other relatives to the other side all leave their mark on us. Psychic medium readings can offer priceless comfort and encouragement. Those who lost their parents when they were young, say they miss their parents more over the course of their lives. Being able to connect can be a priceless gift honoring your relationship. This gift in the present can have lasting positive effects on the future.

3.Honor your journey. We are all on a journey through this life, with help, hope and inspiration along the way. If you are being nudged to get a reading, allow yourself to connect. Give great respect to your journey. Those who do honor their journeys, find it springs them forward in pleasant and unanticipated ways.

This time of year can be especially meaningful for connecting. Honor or in other words show great respect for this Love from the Past, in the Present and send it to the Future. Embrace this greatest gift you can share this holiday season, individually or as a small group.

Peace and joy,

Do You Miss Mom?

As a psychic medium, I know the joy of connecting someone with their Mom. A rush of love fills me as the energy of Mom, Mum, Mother, Momma, or as some knew their mom, Best Friend, fills the room. Clients tell me they, too, can feel the love energy. I can see a change in my clients as the love permeates their being.

Almost every day, I see a post on Facebook for someone missing their Mom. It’s an ache, a wish to connect with her, know again her familiarity, words, laughter, encouragement or get one more hug.

Medium messages strip away time, sickness, sadness, and relive the joy and love she brought to lives. Sessions can even build understanding of difficult times endured together.

The healing experienced in sessions is heartfelt and life-changing. It can bring a better perspective on one’s own journey, relationships and where you want to go and how you want to live from this day forward.

I feel blessed to have this ability and be able to share it with you. Many Clients tell me they find they miss their parents more as they age than they did in their early adult lives.

Ease the AcheFind out what message awaits you.

When the Student is Ready, the Message Appears

There is a saying, “When the student is ready, the teacher appears.” As a psychic medium, I believe messages are teachers, often coming from those who love us and knew us best.  The messages I get to deliver are often positively transformational, in the best possible ways, for the recipient. And, I get the same opportunity to receive messages and experience transformation as my clients.

In my frequently asked questions (FAQ’s), I address the fact spirit decides on the messenger and the messages.  I find spirit also provides nudges and encouragement to those who need to receive messages.

As I started the process of working as a medium, our deceased dad was made available to me to reach yet another level of healing, healing work I began 30 years ago. I smile as I write this. I used to refer to him by his first name, Richard, and yet thought my work with that relationship was complete. By the end of my work that weekend, I started referring to him as our Dad.  He thanked me for allowing him to be a part of that weekend work; it helped him understand how his behavior affected others. He didn’t get that while he was here on earth.

I can talk to our Mom who passed in 1997 freely.  Mom brought through our paternal grandmother this summer. This act alone was a sign of family healing.  Our grandmother wanted to own her part in creating unhealthy family dynamics by how she raised our dad and hadn’t held our dad and grandfather accountable for their behavior.

Our grandmother let me know I would have the opportunity to speak to our grandfather when I wanted.  I knew little about him. He told me about how he grew up.  He didn’t make excuses for his behavior.  In fact, he apologized.  The information helped me understand our family more.

Next, a former supervisor showed up and gave me credit for holding him accountable, something that had been extremely stressful for me.  The supervisor let me know we had agreed to our roles before we ever got to earth, and both played them well.  He said I handled it professionally and I needed to know I could hold people I perceived in power accountable. He also let me know a former abuser would be available to me when I was ready.

I was ready.  I told the abuser exactly what I thought of his behavior.  He agreed with me and went further to say he was lucky he died when he did because he doesn’t know too many husbands and fathers who would have tolerated what he did if they knew. He also let me know he is working to be of service to others now and he would NOT show up to talk to me again unless I requested it and he could be of service to me.

So if you are being nudged to receive a message, relax, know and trust.  I believe you are being nudged because you are loved, supported and ready. Amazing things happen in this work.

The Relax, Know and Trust Lady

3 Steps to Embracing Your Life Path

I am the Relax, Know and Trust Lady.  It’s what I do. It’s what works. And if asked, it’s the message I share with others, too.

I was a person who was sure I could figure anything out if I just put in more effort, more time, more work. I wanted to succeed and was willing to work for it.  I put in long hours, worried and lost sleep.

I knew good self-care habits; how to eat healthy, meditate and exercise.  And, the more stressed I got, the more of the good habits I left behind in my efforts to work harder. I gave more of my time to work.  Often, these work situations I didn’t cause and couldn’t control, and I didn’t want to believe I couldn’t fix.  I would think if I could be creative enough, think of the right words or logical argument, I would be able to accomplish everything on my to do list.  Not.

I worked in the non-profit world, often with amazing people. People motivated me to want to figure it all out, whether my coworkers or the families we served who had more than the average amount of life challenges. I wanted to be sure staff got raises, families got services and waiting lists were eliminated.  And sometimes, there weren’t services available for families and the backup systems couldn’t help either. Regulations changed often.  Eventually, I hoisted the white flag and surrendered.

Surrendering meant I did what I know works:  Relax, Know and Trust.  Relaxing for me does not include reaching for alcohol, drugs or sweets.  I find they cause more problems and self-loathing on top of the original stress.  Relaxing for me requires I shut off the outside world and quiet my mind. I take time and space for myself.  I need to breathe, deeply.  I need to be able to hear my soothing, peaceful higher self, God, and the guidance offered within me.

When I relax, I tap into wisdom and knowing which will be able to help me decide the next right thing to do.  Relaxed, I take pen to paper and write out what I know.  I know the kind, loving, spirit who has been with me this entire journey and tells me I am delightful, is present, waiting to communicate with me.  There is no chastising; no, “Where have you been?” There is a smile for me.  The spirit is happy I have chosen to connect whenever I choose to connect.  The spirit knows me, loves me and wants what is best for me.  And, is honest with me in a loving way.  The have to’s and shoulds fall away as we communicate about what is at hand and what I need and what I want to do. I document the entire conversation.  It’s important to have in writing what I know in this relaxed state because history has proven this is how I know the next right thing or direction for my life.

And, it’s priceless to have what I know in writing when trust is the next step on my path.  I relax into trusting, knowing everything will work out. I have plenty of experience with everything working out. However, the feelings in the moment can be very uncomfortable while trusting everything will work out. I don’t get to pick the time table when things will happen. And affirming the plan helps in my resolve to act on the plans or directions I now have laid out and to stay the course.

My life has had plenty of challenges.  I have a sexual abuse history that started as a young child. I come from a divorced family with a myriad of health problems including alcoholism.  I have had to set boundaries, limits and work hard to resolve obstacles to my growth.  Today, I love my family and I love life. I get to help people by delivering messages with an ability I was told I needed to keep secret because people would think I was crazy.  I witness people begin to transform their lives while we are together for an hour connecting with those who have passed on.  I see lots of tears. I am relaxed with tears because I know and I trust they are healing, heartfelt and often joyful.

I wonder, when was the last time you used the word joyful in your life? As the Relax, Know and Trust Lady, I use the word joyful in my life almost daily.

It doesn’t mean my life is pain-free.  Walking with people as they heal some of life’s deeply painful hurts, definitely impacts me.  Relaxing and knowing I am on the right path and trusting everything works out, brings me joy. I am grateful, humbled and feel privileged to be able to do the work I do, delivering messages.  I understand even with the ability I have, not everyone would choose to do the work I do.  I get to help people heal and that’s pretty cool.

I invite you to embrace your life path, whether you are called to contact me to receive a message you are ready to hear or follow these three simple, although not always easy, steps.  Take a deep breath and let it out slowly. You, too, have intuition.  It may not be to the degree that I do and, it’s been there all along.  The question is, will you let it help you?

When I questioned whether I could deliver messages for a living, I was shown a road which began at my door and extended through hills into the horizon.  On it, were people 3 and 4 across, completely covering the road, coming to see me to receive their messages.  I knew my services would be in demand. After resigning a full time job and making space in my life for this healing work, the picture changed. People were also relaxing on the first two hills. On the right, people were reading books I had written and on the left, I was leading a workshop.

Join me and embrace your life’s path,

The Relax, Know and Trust Lady
